Spring/Summer 2011 Hair Trends

While it still seems warmer temperatures are far away (we still have snow on the ground!), fashionistas around the world are already preparing what is "hot" for Spring/Summer 2011. And while the hottest fashions may be out of reach, you can always think of the newest trends in hairstyles. They are easy to incorporate into any lifestyle and they are the easiest way to be on top of trend! Compared to what we saw for Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer looks are more modern, having very few retro accents. They also have many variations that leave them open to all women from all walks of life! So if you just can't wait any longer, here are a few of these hot trends for Spring/Summer 2011....

Volume, the bigger the better, right? Well, not necessarily. High volume hairstyles are still popular, but it is being used way more deliberately to create a more refined, modern look. Don't be afraid of volume (whether creating a hot updo, or a simple down style), but make sure that you incorporate it so it matches your life, face shape and hair texture.

Loose (almost bed head/messy) hair styles are a hot trend. To display your femininity a lot of women are looking for a simple, refined loose hairstyle. This hairstyle expresses the less is more idea while showing a relaxed carefree attitude that still carries a touch of glamor from eras of the past. No matter what your hair type or texture you can sport this hairstyle that highlights and frames your face perfectly creating a confident, bold, mysterious allure.

The updo hairstyle, whether used for a formal look or a casual day out look, is very popular! Whether the look takes a few minutes to create or something a little more detailed you can create a sophisticated hairstyle with a multitude of elements creating that unique look that fits you perfect.

Lastly (for now!), is the extreme side part. This trend carries over from Fall/Winter season, but still can add a fresh look for your Spring/Summer tresses. Used mostly for sleek, straight tresses, you can use on other hair textures as well. This is an easy adaptation you can use for a well defined, simple, fuss free hairstyle!

Happy Spring/Summer and Happy transforming to the warmer weather you!
