Correct Way to Dry Your Hair

Always pat your hair dry with a towel and do not put a towel on top of your head and rub your hair dry -it can break your hair strands and cause excess hairloss. Tell your husband or boyfriend this if he is concerned about hair loss because men tend to dry their hair like this a lot.

Additional Tips:
Avoid leaving the blowdryer in one spot for more than a few seconds. Keep the dryer moving around and keep it 2-3 inches from your head.

Use a quality, well made hair dryer. Hair Dryers with ceramic and or tourmaline heating elements are best. These dryers maintain a more even level of heat and cause less stress on the hair as compared to steel or aluminium heating elements.

Use a salon quality thermal protectant on your hair. Salon grad products use lightweight silicones that won't weigh down your hair or build up over time.
